Soapstone and Alabaster are Robert's medium and his area of work ranges from contemporary to abstract to folk art.
Robert has been mentored by and currently works with Inuit artist George Arluk (sometimes spelled as George Arlook). Not to be confused with his Inuit friends Robert's last name Gorlook comes from a Ukrainian decent.
